Thank you for this thoughtful and detailed analysis. I cannot help wonder who are the international-relations experts advising President Biden on the Ukraine war and on Taiwan? Do we know whether Biden listened to them on the NATO-expansion-to-Ukraine provocation or rejected their counsel? Any light you can shed on the brains-behind-Biden question would be helpful.

It's very concerning, but I've seen more publicity about how badly war games go for us over Taiwan. Hopefully there is a developing internal consensus in the government that it's just impossible and off ramps are being planned.

Moreover, Taiwan is an independent country. Allowing for their “reunification” (per your geopolitical strategist and handheld flamethrower manufacturer, Elon Musk, and which begs the question--who has the authority to allow it?) is to concede to CCP propaganda that Taiwan is, and has been, a stray territory.

This article is armchair doom prophecy.

Please define “demolition” and “demise of Europe”.

Please define “hybrid war” as you are using it here.

Additionally, you have framed the Russian invasion of Ukraine as an attack on US hegemony specifically, rather than latently.

The demise of the United States will be the direct result of magical thinking and lack of foresight. It had years to figure out the long-term consequences of its policies and prepare for undesirable outcomes, but instead ceded economic leverage, failed to build up its Navy, its military can't even meet recruitment goals, and it likely finds itself today in a head-on collision with Reality.

All along, China has been a steady, self-conscious, and goal-oriented catalyst.
