Out of any time in the past century, the COVID pandemic was probably the most revelatory with regard to the Western liberal ruling class and its intentions. What was essentially a bad flu was used as an excuse to shut down society and to exert truly tyrannical levels of state power for ends directly deleterious to the common good. Americans, for instance, witnessed as churches were closed while strip clubs were open under the orders of various governments. They saw how the elite, after spending months tyrannizing law-abiding Americans, turned a blind eye to the violent and destructive riots of the summer of 2020. As someone who was a High School student in California at the time, I witnessed firsthand how the pandemic derailed the lives of many of my previously promising peers and did irreparable harm to much of our youngest generation.
